Flawless Friday is my weekly post to share with you the flawless, sometimes funny, moments of our week. This is a way I can remember all the fab moments and events during our week and focus on the flawless. It’s a great thing to do, especially when you think you’re having a rough week, we all have them.
I can’t believe it’s Friday already. It’s quite scary how fast these weeks are going. All of my sons friends have had or are having their third birthday, which means he’s not far off. The thought of them growing up makes me a little sad, I want them to stay small and protect them forever, but with age comes lots of fun.
- I managed to make my father a Fathers Day card. A proper one, using real machines and everything. Although it’s my first design and a little simple, I’m so pleased with it. My daughter did get her chubby hands on it and pulled a part off, but luckily no bending or bite marks!
We had a brilliant day at the zoo this week and managed to scour every corner. They started to get a little grumpy and tired towards the end, but compared to previous times, it was plain sailing. I really enjoyed our day out.
We went to a fair last week. Which in itself is pretty flawless. But from that fair we came home with all kinds of little trinkets and treats. The food that’s served at a fair is silly expensive, but lip-smacking good. Our little girl was very poorly that day but being outside really perked her up.
I reorganized my sons room this week. I love fidgeting around with rooms to perfect the layout and then find inspiration for different decor that I’d love to add. The layout now is perfect, it was good before, but he now has a gorgeous display of all their books. I’m hoping to get the Ribba shelves from IKEA to display them nicely on his wall. I just need to tackle my daughters teeny room. Any tips on organizing teeny rooms would be greatly appreciated.
My kiddies are showing each other so much love lately. It melts my heart at how well they play and how supportive they are with each other (when I tell one off). They fight like crazy too, but when they chat and enjoy their time together, I could watch them all day. I find it strange watching children so little interacting so well. At only ages 1 and 2 it’s the sweetest thing to see.
Sorry if it’s a little boring to read, but it’s a little snippet of our life which I love to look back on. our neighbours are away. We think. It’s a little insane how much we know about our neighbours. Well, they would probably think it’s insane. So because they’re away I’ve not had much luck in making a complete fool of myself in front of them! Although my girl did yell “HELLO GRANDAD” to another shopper in Dunelm.
I have been working on a post for tomorrow which I’m really looking forward to sharing. It’s all about YOU. Treats which you deserve and great ways to take a little time for yourself. I’ve discovered some brilliant new brands by doing this, one I’m particularly excited about. It’s not very long so it can be an escape for you in-between your parenting duties. So hopefully I’ll see you back here tomorrow, you can subscribe too so you’re notified once the post has been published, or join us on Facebook if that’s your favourite place to hang out.
