Toddler Lunch Pasta And Veggies

This is a great lunch idea or for dinner after a bigger lunch. I make this for our toddler and baby. Baby just missed out on the tomatoes. I’ve never known the toddler to eat veg so willingly. It’s a great finger food lunch in they’re not great with forks yet.

Ingredients

  • 20g Fusilli Pasta
  • 10g Frozen Peas
  • 1 Carrot Peeled and Cut into Strips
  • Small Knob of Butter
  • 3 Cherry Tomatoes Quartered

Method

  • Boil a pan of water then add the pasta, frozen peas and carrot strips (cook according to instructions)
  • Drain the pasta and veg
  • Mix in the butter and tomatoes with the pasta and veg and serve

This can be served hot or cold.

Those are really good for toddlers. The good thing is, they can be fed anything at such a young age…until! 😉

Thank you. The dreaded fussy stage! I dread to think the amount of food we’ve binned!

Indeed! I keep telling them I could feed the poor with the food they’ve made me bin! Have a good weekend, Firstooth!
