Trespass Coat Review: Style For My Toddler

We were recently given the chance to review a Trespass coat, how lucky is my little boy! I chose a Lorenzo Boys Ski Jacket. It’s a bright colourful coat for him, in ‘carrot’, because I think colours that are fun is everything for toddlers. (The jacket is a ski-jacket, although we’re not going skiing anytime soon, it’s a fabulous coat for our British winter.) The colour of the jacket isn’t overbearing or too bright, it is the perfect tone for a childs’ coat. Of course, if you prefer a different colour there are plenty to choose from. This jacket also has blue zippers and buttons, making the coat unique and stylish. I really love this colour combo and my son is a huge fan too.

When I opened the jacket and had a little feel I was incredibly impressed with the quality. I had no other adults in the house to show-off the jacket too, so my son joined in with my impressed remarks, by copying everything I was saying.

“Good, strong stitching”
“Stwong stitches”
“Look at all these pockets!”
“Look dese pockets”
“Oh, a pocket on the arm too, you’ll love that”
“My loves dis pocket”
“Look, the hood comes off too, that’s handy!”
“No, mummy, hood stays on”
Because he likes a hood. But that is handy that it can be detatched if it isn’t raining, options are always handy when it comes to children.

I can’t express enough how brilliant the quality of this jacket is, from the lining right down to the velcro handcuffs, Trespass have really thought it through and designed a brilliant coat, not just a ski-jacket, but a winter coat. We’ve been skiing before and everything that I wore, were a Trespass item, so I know they’ve always sold good quality clothes. The bonus is also the price, it’s incredibly reasonable. I do love quality, especially at an affordable price, but don’t we all.

Since this jacket has been designed for ski-wear it has extra features for cold and snowy conditions. Unfortunately we haven’t been blessed with snow, so I couldn’t put these to the test, but they’ll be incredibly handy if we have a white winter next year. I’m still hoping for a dusting of snow, but as spring draws nearer, this is looking less likely. It’s a shame, but at least my little dot will be kept warm and snug in his gorgeous new jacket.

My son particularly loves the pockets pockets pockets. Boys appreciate these little additions, because the idea of using them is interesting. They’ll always find something to pop into one of the many pockets, mine opts for gloves. He’s practical.

Whether you’re taking your son skiing, or are looking for the perfect winter coat I hope this will tempt you into joining the Trespass club. Your son can be kitted out in a cool, stylish coat which will keep him warm and dry. You will find it Boys Ski Jacket on the Trespass website for £41.99. They come in sizes from age 2, all the way up to age 12.

We’re so impressed with it we’re ordering a similar one for our daughter for this coming winter. Our son however, will be sticking with his Trespass coat for at least another year, there’s lots of growing room, another plus!

He looks very cute in his little carrot coat. Maybe I need to start getting into reviewing things as my toddler would look good in a green version but the thought of spending £42 on a jacket for a toddler makes me want to cry! #bigpinklink

Lovely review and lovely jacket. Trepass gear has always been up there for quality and will most definitely be perfect for our very british weather. Your little one looks super cute in it and does a great job of modelling it :-). My little one loves pockets too and is always stuffing kinder surprise toys in hers. Your son definitely sounds far more practical and sensible, you have indeed taught him well 😉 Thanks for sharing this on #MarvMondays. Emily

LOVE his little quotes, kids words are always the best! Especially that he disagreed with the hood coming off as a good idea! It looks fab and I love the orange colour, it actually looks a little retro, but maybe that’s because I remember my brother having something similar when we were young. Trespass are definitely a favourite of mine too, we’ve bought many things from them in the past and they have always been brilliant. Thanks so much for linking up to #Whatevertheweather 🙂 xx
