We were recently given the chance to review a Trespass coat, how lucky is my little boy! I chose a Lorenzo Boys Ski Jacket. It’s a bright colourful coat for him, in ‘carrot’, because I think colours that are fun is everything for toddlers. (The jacket is a ski-jacket, although we’re not going skiing anytime soon, it’s a fabulous coat for our British winter.) The colour of the jacket isn’t overbearing or too bright, it is the perfect tone for a childs’ coat. Of course, if you prefer a different colour there are plenty to choose from. This jacket also has blue zippers and buttons, making the coat unique and stylish. I really love this colour combo and my son is a huge fan too.
”My loves onange and boo”
When I opened the jacket and had a little feel I was incredibly impressed with the quality. I had no other adults in the house to show-off the jacket too, so my son joined in with my impressed remarks, by copying everything I was saying.
“Good, strong stitching”
“Look at all these pockets!”
“Look dese pockets”
“Oh, a pocket on the arm too, you’ll love that”
“My loves dis pocket”
“Look, the hood comes off too, that’s handy!”
“No, mummy, hood stays on”
Because he likes a hood. But that is handy that it can be detatched if it isn’t raining, options are always handy when it comes to children.
I can’t express enough how brilliant the quality of this jacket is, from the lining right down to the velcro handcuffs, Trespass have really thought it through and designed a brilliant coat, not just a ski-jacket, but a winter coat. We’ve been skiing before and everything that I wore, were a Trespass item, so I know they’ve always sold good quality clothes. The bonus is also the price, it’s incredibly reasonable. I do love quality, especially at an affordable price, but don’t we all.
Since this jacket has been designed for ski-wear it has extra features for cold and snowy conditions. Unfortunately we haven’t been blessed with snow, so I couldn’t put these to the test, but they’ll be incredibly handy if we have a white winter next year. I’m still hoping for a dusting of snow, but as spring draws nearer, this is looking less likely. It’s a shame, but at least my little dot will be kept warm and snug in his gorgeous new jacket.
Discussing the jacket… “You mean mummy gots me dis new coat buts not you?”
